He has combined his love of python, software development, social networking, metrics collection & memes to build this strange little tool.
- What? We help you measure how much people are talking about interesting topics. Examples are The Public Option or Peppermint Mochas.
- Why? We are skeptical about anyone who tells us what other people think. We've set out to find a neutral means of measuring what people are talking about in order to measure demand & opinion.
As people express their opinions more and more using tools like Twitter, it becomes possible to scientifically measure what people are talking about.
- How? We use the Twitter Search API to measure a phrase that's active on Twitter. We poll twitter at a rate that is appropriate to the popularity of your topic conversation.
